Snowy Welcome Home on New Year's Eve

NEWBURG--New York Army National Guard Soldiers of the 27th Brigade Combat Team arrive at Stewart Airport on New Year's Eve after serving 10 months in Afghanistan.
More than 150 Soldiers returned to New York from out processing at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in time to welcome in the New Year with their families. Planes carrying the New York Guard members arrived at Hancock Field in Syracuse and at Buffalo-Niagara International Airport.
Soldiers returned to home armories in Albany, Rochester, Buffalo, Newburgh, Syracuse and New York City.
More members of the 27th Brigade will return to New York in the week following New Years Day.
